BLACK OPS / THE APPROACH
Built around the building

The right finish
for the floor beneath.

Black Ops provides VCT stripping and waxing and, for terrazzo, stripping and recoating. Current terrazzo work does not include grinding, honing, polishing or other restoration methods. Equipment can include 175 RPM, 1.5 HP rotary floor machines, walk-behind scrubbers, floor scrapers, buckets and flat mops for controlled, splash-free finish application.

  • Provide the floor type, approximate area and available care instructions.
  • Identify old coatings, damaged areas and previous maintenance products.

Choose the right work

Planning vct & terrazzo floor care.

01

Worn VCT finish

Review whether maintenance or full finish removal is appropriate for the actual wear and buildup.

02

A terrazzo floor

Identify the system and follow its care requirements. Do not carry a VCT wax specification over to terrazzo.

03

An occupied building

Agree furniture movement, temporary access routes and the full return-to-use window before scheduling.

Before you decide

VCT & Terrazzo Floor Care: your questions.

Practical answers for planning the work at your property.

What does vct & terrazzo floor care include?

VCT work may include stripping and applying a compatible finish. Current terrazzo service is limited to stripping and recoating, using equipment and products selected for the existing floor system.

Do VCT and terrazzo need the same finish?

No. VCT and terrazzo require separate product and maintenance decisions based on the existing system and manufacturer guidance.

Which terrazzo treatments do you offer?

Black Ops currently offers terrazzo stripping and recoating. Grinding, honing, polishing and other restoration methods are not currently offered.

Is stripping needed at every visit?

No. The condition and maintenance specification may call for cleaning or a scrub and recoat instead. Full stripping is assessed separately.

Can finish work repair cracks or damaged tiles?

No. Finish work does not repair cracks, loose tiles or structural damage. Repair responsibilities should be agreed separately.

When can the floor reopen?

Drying and curing depend on the finish system and site conditions. Agree pedestrian and furniture return times before work starts.

How is the quotation prepared?

The vct & terrazzo floor care proposal is based on the space, the tasks and access arrangements discussed at the assessment. The written scope and price are reviewed before work is agreed.

What information helps with an initial enquiry?

Provide the floor type, approximate area and available care instructions. Include a contact number or email and the property location.

Can I discuss a particular access window?

Yes. Explain preferred times, occupied areas and any building restrictions. Scheduling depends on the scope and confirmed availability.

Where can I find local information?

The area pages below explain the local setting and practical details to raise for a property enquiry. Availability is confirmed for the full address.
