BLACK OPS / THE APPROACH
Built around the building

Clear glass.
A considered first impression.

Window cleaning begins with a glass and access survey. Our standard tools include six-gallon buckets, T-bar scrubbers, squeegees, ladders and extension poles; scissor or boom lifts are used only when a project requires and safely permits them. We currently do not offer exterior window cleaning on buildings taller than four floors.

  • Share the approximate window count, floors and photographs of access if available.
  • Identify coated glass, existing scratches and any care instructions.

Choose the right work

Planning window cleaning.

01

Storefronts and entrances

Define door glass, surrounding panes and any interior partitions together for a consistent scope.

02

Upper-level glazing

Identify the height and access restrictions early. A window count alone cannot determine the access method or price.

03

After construction

Paint, adhesive and other construction residue should be identified before cleaning; removing it is not automatically included in routine glass service.

The scope of the work

What window cleaning can include.

The assessment establishes what is needed. Tasks and exclusions are agreed for your property.

01

Glass survey

Identify the panes, coatings, damage and areas to be included.

02

Interior windows

Plan work around desks, blinds, furnishings and occupied rooms.

03

Exterior windows

Review ground conditions and confirm the building is no more than four floors for exterior work.

04

Professional hand tools

Use buckets, T-bar scrubbers, squeegees and extension poles for suitable panes.

05

Access equipment

Plan ladders and, in limited cases, scissor or boom lifts after a site-specific access review.

06

Final glass check

Review accessible glass and any deposits or damage that remain.

Before you decide

Window Cleaning: your questions.

Practical answers for planning the work at your property.

What does window cleaning include?

A window cleaning scope identifies interior and exterior glass, access equipment, entrance doors and requested frame or track work. Exterior work is currently limited to buildings of four floors or fewer.

Are both sides of the glass included?

Only the sides listed in the quotation are included. Specify interior, exterior or both when requesting a walkthrough.

Can you clean high windows?

High-reach glass needs an access assessment. Black Ops currently does not offer exterior window cleaning on buildings taller than four floors.

Will cleaning remove scratches or etched glass?

Ordinary window cleaning does not repair scratched or etched glass. Hard-water deposits, adhesive and construction residue require a separate assessment.

Can you work around office occupants?

Discuss room access and timing. Furniture clearance and safe routes are agreed before the visit.

How is the quotation prepared?

The window cleaning proposal is based on the space, the tasks and access arrangements discussed at the assessment. The written scope and price are reviewed before work is agreed.

What information helps with an initial enquiry?

Share the approximate window count, floors and photographs of access if available. Include a contact number or email and the property location.

Can I discuss a particular access window?

Yes. Explain preferred times, occupied areas and any building restrictions. Scheduling depends on the scope and confirmed availability.

Where can I find local information?

The area pages below explain the local setting and practical details to raise for a property enquiry. Availability is confirmed for the full address.
